Toxic cockpits

Three years ago, ZEMBLA revealed that the aviation sector is facing a huge problem: oil leaks in aircraft engines mean that passengers and crew are inhaling toxic substances.
MPs responded with horror but former Minister Eurlings assured there was no cause for concern. 

Government intervention was unnecessary. But flight personnel became increasingly anxious. Planes are still regularly returning to the airport because of the unbearable stench filling the cockpit and cabin.
