Apologies for the English. I am living in Holland whilst working on a project for the next two years.
I bought a digital tv box and a Casema card. I filled in and sent the required form to Casema within the required number of days. They still cut off my cable tv. When I called I was told that even though I had sent the form in time, it would take them 2 weeks to process the form so my cable had been stopped. I gave him the same details over the phone and he told me it would take 4 days for my cable to be reconnected. That was 2 weeks ago. I've tried calling and can't get through on the expensive customer services phone number and my klachtenformulieren are ignored.
I've already paid my +-27 euro joining fee, plus the 20 euro for the card. I'd like to switch to another company but also want my money back from Casema. I have been told by a few people not to use Casema because they've experienced similar difficulties.
Can anyone tell me what I can do about this? In my opinion, this is unethical business practice, unprofessional and unfair. I wonderif they are trying to take advantage of me because I'm a foreigner and don't speak Dutch yet.
Can anyone offer me some advice on what to do from here?
Thanks!
